Lock Picking a Master Lock No.3 and No.21

I open a Master Lock No.3 and a Master Lock No.21 using my lockpicks. The lockpicks I used was “The Tuxedo Set” purchased from Sparrows Lock Picks. The Tuxedo set by sparrows is designed to be your everyday carry set. The set includes 6 carefully selected picks that will open a wide variety of locks from standard front door locks to high-security locks. I haven’t uploaded a lock picking video in a while so I thought I would make one showing my progress. Master padlocks have become pretty easy to pick for me. When I get some better quality high-security locks with security pins and I am proficient at lock picking them I’ll probably make more lock picking videos.

Lockpicking is the art of unlocking a lock by analyzing and manipulating the components of the lock device without the original key. In addition, ideal lock picking should not damage the lock itself, allowing it to be rekeyed for later use, which is especially important with antique locks that would be impossible to replace if destructive entry methods were used. Although lock picking can be associated with criminal intent, it is an essential skill for a locksmith and is often pursued by law-abiding citizens as a useful skill to learn or simply a hobby. The move towards combination locks for high-security items such as safes was intended to remove the weakest part of the lock: its keyhole.

  1. Listen to The genius making this video I was under the impression that this was going to teach me how to pick a Master Lock apparently not as she went way too fast and didn't even show exactly how to install the tension pic. Thanks for wasting my freaking time

  2. None of the links above work. I have tried several brands that come with the see thru locks. They can be picked with almost anything but when trying them on real locks not much success.

  3. I bought one called the 22 and when I try to put the torque wrench in the keyhole spins. What do I do?? If I can't get tension I don't know how to pick the lock.

  4. I had a weird master lock pad lock that had the spot where you would put the tension spin so you cant hold it there the key also looks like a cross with multiple arms pls tell me what type of lock this is

  5. Hey nice video. Question. I can pick my master lock 3 almost always, but I can't seem to get a consistent tension. For mine, the master lock 3 needs what seems to be next to no tension. Is this the same for you?
